The Final Draft

This is my picture which I chose long time ago.

     When I saw this picture, I was attracted by these three lovely children. I can't help laughing at these children's movements and expressions. Maybe this picture was taken in the kindergarten. I think these children were playing games when someone took this picture. I suppose that these three children are just 4-5 years old. These three children just wear a small brief even though they are different sex. Maybe they are playing a game in which the other children hide somewhere and these three children need to find them. Before these three children can start to look for them, they need to wear a black glasses to prevent peek. Moreover, they also need to put their hands on the back of the body until the other children finish, because the other kids usually worry about whether or not these three children will take off their black glass and find the place they are hiding. This kind of action and image looks like a group of bodyguard who standing in the front of the wall. It is so funny, and I think these three children will have a hard time finding the other kids after they take off their black glassess. I hope they can't get cold while playing games.

Denver Review Video Blog-CHILI'S

     Hello Everyone, today I want to recommend a good restuarant to you. Its name is Chili's. The address of this restaurant is 790 South Colorado Boulevard Glendale, CO 80246. It's a Mexcian restaurant. The service and environment is pretty good, and you can see a lot of people in this restaurant every time you come here.
     The pity thing is I order a wrong meal. but the appetizer tastes good, look at this picture.

     But the entrees is too bad that I feel very regret to order this meal.

     Last time, I order  the Crispy Chichen Tacos, It's really very delicious, there are three flour tortillas with Crispy Chicken Crispers, applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, honey-chipotle drizzle and ranch dressing. If you want to come here I suggest you can choose this one, just like this picture.

Listening Log-Hunger Game(2)

     Ok, let's continut to talk about this excited moive: Hunger Game. This moive is similar with the book, but some details was delated. But I also can get the main idea from this moive.

     It was happened in a strange country. There are 13 district in this country, but because of the 13 district's rebellion, 13 district was destroied by the government. For remind all the people to remember this thing, the government decided to set up a Hunger Game annually. Katniss hunts with Petta for living everyday.  Their life become better and better. unluckly, Katniss's sister was chosen to attended the Hunger Game. She is so little that she can easily be killed by the other people. Katniss can't stand her sister to do this thing, so she decided to replace her sister to attened this Game. Moreover she become the first people who volunteer to attened this kill game. Another thing is Pette who had ever save Katniss's life was also chosen to attened this game.

     Before the Hunger Game begin, these people who were chosen to attened the Hunger Game were serviced very well. They have a lot of delicious food, good living condition, they were protected before the game begin. During this time, the designer Cinna designed a pretty good dress for them, and just because of this, Katniss and Petta were attracted by lots of people. The most important thing is it can help them to get economic support from some rich man. All the opponent find this and pay more attention to them when they are training. There are some different things with the other training when they were trained. Katniss and Petta followed the Haymich's suggestion and learn some other skill which the other people didn't want to learn, such as binding, hiding, and firing. Haymich think it can be helpful for them.

     Hunger Game started, all the people were very nervious except some people who had accepted a special training for this thing. They started to kill each other. Some people hide themselves. Katniss make good use of climbing to hide herself. It is incredible that Petta become her opponent and work with the other people. she was almost be killed by them. At this time, a little girl whose name is Rue helped her and save her life when she was bitten by hornet. They become the ally and destroied the opponents' supplies. But Rue was killed by people who is from 10 district finally. During the process of fighting, the leader of this game want to make it more funny, he change the rule that the same district people can be the winner at the same time. So she remember Petta. After a hard search, she finally found Petta but he was serious wounded. Katniss hope Haymich can supply some medicine to save Petta, and this dream was come true. Their wound basic recovery and they can work together.
After the cruel fighting, they finnaly alive together and fall in love.

     It is really a good moive. If you are interested, I think this moive is good choice for you!

     Every week we have one class time to discuss the book which we chose at the begin of this quarter, and I chose Hunger Game. I chose this book just because the name of this book made me feel very curious, and I thought it must have an exciting story about Hunger Game. The fact prove that I'm right. It is really an exciting book, and there are many impressive and breathtaking things in this book. this time, I want to watch this moive to feel its scene.      Because there are many character in this moive, I want to introduce some main character in this moive at first.

     1. Katniss: she is a mature girl, and she lives in 12 district. Her father was killed by a coal mining accident, and her mother almost lose hope because of this thing. So, she become the only head of household. She has two special skill: archery and climbing, and she always come into the forest to hunt some animals for living even it is not allowed by low. She doesn't have any other way to make her family's better. Because her sister is chosen to attend the Hunger Game and she doesn't want to let her sister suffer, so she replace her sister finally and become the first volunteer in her district.

     2. Gale: He is Katniss's best friend, and they always hunt together in the forest. During Katniss attend the Hunger Game, he helps her famliy a lot.

     3. Petta: His parents have a bakery, so he usually help his parents to do some thing in this bakery. He hidden love Katniss, and the first time they meet is long time ago, Katniss was so hungry that she near to die. but Petta throw a bread to her. Just because this, his parents beat him seriously. Finally, he was also chosen to attend the Hunger Game for 12 district.

     4. Haymich: He is the only winner of Hunger Game in 12 district. and he have a strong hobit that is dringing. He play a character as Katniss and Petta's trainer in this Game. Even though he has a bad habit, but he help them a lot until they succeed.

     5. Effy: She is a public reltations, and her job is take them to the place of Game safely.

     6. Cinna: He is a designer. His job is design Katniss and Petta looks more attractive to get more economic support. Finally, he did.

     7. Rue: She is a little girl from 11 district. She is good at climbing, and she doesn't have ant other strong skill. But she know how to survival without any food. and she had saved Katniss's life. Both of them become a good friend in this Game.

Next Listening I will summarize the whole of this moive.

     Family Guys has many chapters. This time, I choose the "back to the pilot", the link is http://www.hulu.com/watch/299685 . Even though the topic said "back to the pilot", it main tell us the thing that the dog discover a tennis ball, but it doesn't know what happen about this ball and want to know it. So the little boy and this dog use the time michine to come back to before time. There is a rule which that when you come back to the before time, you can't change anything, because if will serious affect the future things. However, the dog didn't follow this rule and change the 9-11 incident, moreover, it changes many other things, and cause their future become a battlefiled. At last, they don't want this disaster can be happened, so they come back to change again. Finally, they did it. and the life continue to be normal.
      Moreover, I found a funny conversition. and I want to share with you.

     However, the dog didn't say anything and just putting the money into its pocket.

     The Expendables is one of the most popular action moive, I can remember I had expected it for a long time just beacuse of watching it. This time I rewatch it agian, it is also make me feel excited.
     The main characters are also my favourite moive stars. Such as Stallone,

Schwarzenegger,

Jason Statham,

and my favourite moive star: Lianjie Li.

     This moive tell us a story about a group of lansquenet, they accept a special task from the American government. The government had planed to hire some people to overthrow a small personal government, but nobody want to do this. Finally, Stallon's group accept this hard task. The members of his group have their own strong personal skill, such as Jason Statham is a member of SAS, Lianjie is a fight ace. Each tasks can be successful finished with the help of Stallon's group. But this task is much harder than before. The enemy has their own soliders, and it is not easy to be overthrowed. During the process of fighting with them, they meet many problems and overcome them finally.
     Among the conversion words of them, I found many funny conversion words. For example:
Statham: Are you creazy?!
               You could have killed me!Stallon: You are welcome!
     I like this very much, it is such a funny conversion. Moreover, I also like this moive very much.  I hope I can watch The Expendables 2 soon because I can't find the link to it.

Denver Review-Picnic

     Cherry Creek State Park is a really good place for picnic. The address is  4201 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO 80014. Last week, I went to there with my friend Kobby for walking, he said, the environment of there is too nice, and it suit for picnic very much. At that time, we decide to have a picnic next weekend.
     We almost organized 12 people, and all of them agree to share the money about all the things for picnic. Friday, my friend and I went to Wal-Mart to buy all the things for picnic, such as BBQ mechine, beefsteak, chichen wings, drunsticks, BBQ sause, beers, ice cake, condiments and so on. Next day, we got there on time, the other people got there one by one. Because the BBQ mechine is new one, so wo should install this mechine. We spent almost 45 minutes to finish it, and all the people were busying to prepare the things.
     After we finished all the things, we felt so excited, and some girls started to cook food. The other people were waiting for food while playing, because most of boys are not good at cooking.

     It looks very nice that people can cooperate together. when they finished the first meal, it was robbed soon, because all the people were hungry at that time. It tasted very good. Even some people started to cook the food by themselves.

     After a while, most of people are full, and they had to stop for a while for digestion. This is my first time about having picnic, but we succeed to finish this picnic, and all the people were very happy. The most impertant thing is it is much cheaper than BBQ restaurant. So, I want to suggest all the classmates, if you also want to have a picnic, you can choose this way. all the things that picnic needs are very cheap, and the environment of this place is very beautiful. I think you will have fun at there.

Listening log-The Transformers

     Yesterday, I watched the Transformers again. The link is http://www.yunpp.com/html/movie/76277.html 

     I can remenber that the first time I watched it was 6 years ago. It made me feel surprised very much. I like it very very much. Moreover, this film used the special high technology and science, and even it looks like a real scene. So I usually review it when I have free time and never hate it.
     The first part of Transformers tell us the history of Transformers and the lucky boy（his name is Sam) owned the first transformer, but he don't know the fact at first.

Its name is Bumblebee, it is also the transformer which I like very much. Moreover, I also like Camaro very much. At that time I always wished than I could own a car like this, when I meet trouble, it could transform into a robot to help me, that would be such a pround thing.

 

     Because it is very kind and funny, sometimes it can help Sam out of trouble, sometimes it can cry when Sam want to leave.Sam also meet a lot of trouble because of these Transformer. The group AUTOBOT (members:Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide,Ratchet) have a group of enemy, the group's name is DECEPTICON(members: Megatron, Starscream, Bonecrusher,Blackout, Barricade, Frenzy, Scorponok) , the leader is Megatron.

     It is a crazed murderer, and it can do any bad thing to reach its goals. It damaged the forces facilities and city buildings, killed a lot of people. To prevent this worldwide catastrophe, Optimus Prime lead its menbers to fight with them. With the help of human Army and the young boy Sam, they defeat them and reply the peace of world. At the same time, Sam became a famous people all ove the world. From this we can find that the evil never can defeat the justic.
     If I have other free time, I will continue to watch the Transformers 2 and 3. It makes me excited when I watch it. Moreover, I hope the Transformer 4 can be shown soon. If you like this kind of moive, I suggest you can review it again, it is really a classics moive.

Denver Review Video Blog-Cherry Creek State Park

     I found another new beautiful place yesterday, its name is Cherry cCreek State Park. The address is 4201 South Parker Road Aurora, CO 80014. It's a good place to have a picnic, go boating, go fishing, go riding, or many other sports.

    First, you can find animals if you have  telescope. Because I don't have telescope, I just found ducks, deer, and goose.

    Second, I didn't understand why so many people have their own boat and where to go for boating. At that time I knew that reason. Even there are many personal boat anchoring on a small wharf.

     Third, it is a good place for fishing. because the pemerature of this park is not too hot, maybe you will feel a little cold when it is in the afternoon. Unluckly, I didn't find any specific fish in their keg.

     I heard that there have the shooting range, it made me very excited, because I like shooting very much. But I missed the work time, I got there too late, the shooting range was closed. Next time I will get there early and play it all day.

Denver Review-Grasmere Lake

     Do you like a peaceful environment to take exercise or have a rest? Do you worry about where to go with your friends to have a picnic at the weekend? Do you like basketball or volleyball? Grasmere Lake is a good choice for you I think. It is located in the west north of the university, and it is neat the intersection between South Downing St and East Louisiana Ave.
     The first time I went to there is on a few days before. I ate a lot with my friend, and we wanted to go for a walk to  help digestion, so we chose the Grasmere Lake. This is my idea because I always went through  this place before but I never visit there. It is actually a beautiful place.

     When I get there, I suddently felt cool many. There is a huge lake which is arrounded by trees and grass. A narrow trail surrounds the lake. Some people were lying on the grass, some people were doing Yoga, some people were fishing. I like this scene.
      Near the lake, there were a lot of ducks searching the food, more impertant thing is they don't afraid of me. when I got close to them,  they didn't run away and contiune to search their food. I think if it is in China, these stupid ducks will meet a big problem---If they don't run away, they will be caught and eaten by the people.

       There is also have squirrel on the tree, it looks like very clever.

       But there have a peoblem with this lake: the water is not very clean and I found some green things on the lake. Maybe the cost of labor is very expensive, so the government can't assign people to look after this lake everyday. The lake need people maintain it together.

       Another characteristic is the strange trees. There are many strange trees arround the lake, and they look like go through many setbacks and cause them can't grow in a normal direction. However, it looks very artistic and I like this kind of tree because I can easy to climb it.

      There also have a huge area to play the basketball and volleyball. People were having fun with their friends. Some people were having the picnic with their family. Moreover, I found American people like exercise very much, lots of people were running and riding at there. But the pity thing is that I forgot to take a picture...-_-
       I like this kind of environment to ease my mood, it makes me feel comfortable and relaxing. If you have the same hobby like me, I suggest you can choose there. I think it can make you lose hope.

       It's true, I really like the nature and negative, I like immerse myself in the nature to enjoy the atmosphere of nature. Breathing the fresh air and enjoying the bright sunshine.I love to be outdoors,

I like hiking, skiing, climbing, and so on. these things can make me have a good rest at the same time of have fun. I also like animals. To my surprised, I can see squirrel and wild goose in Denver. It is a unthinkable thing in my hometown. so I always took a picture when I meet them.

      It is correctly. Sometimes I like to stay in my room and think some things which had happened before. I'm lucky that I knew many light knowledge people, they teach me a lot and make me know how to do things perfectly. Aunt Li is a good example.

 Actually, I like to talk, but sometimes I can't describe my thought in English, the main reason is my poor English. If I tale to the people in Chinese, I think I can talk the whole day. I actually need learn more English words, and practice more English acticeties. Just like the analysis said,"Reading a dialogue or a play with other people", "Doing team learning"
         I hope I can get a big progress in Level 4.

 

Listening logs Week 2

     This weekend I watched a cartoon about "Family Guys" on www.hulu.com. The link is http://www.hulu.com/watch/360947. I like this adult cartoon very much. Because of this cartoon, it make me think that adult also can watch cartoon. I can remember the first time I watched the Famiy Guys, it happened in my friend's house. He is living with some American people, when I entered his house, I found the TV was showing this program. At that time, I think it's so funny that they still watch cartoon as a audlt. However, according to my friend's introduct, I was clear and watched it with them. This program always tell you some knowledge about American culture and some fact. so I can get a lot of knoeledge from this, especially it can help me to improve my listening. I suggest our classmate that we can choose to watch this program.

     This time I watched the "Tea Peter", I like this part very much, this part tell you a suppose that what happen if there is no government. I pick a picture from this part.

 

     At first time, people are boring with their government. People think that the goverment control their freedom, they are not allowed to do many things which they want to do. As a result, they decide to get together and oppose their government; moreover, they want to the government shut down. The leader have no idea, he decide to close the government finally. People feel so happy that they can do anything that no one can stop them. At first, anything is normal, but after a few days, some unpleasant things happened. The factory started to discharge the waste water and gas, people start to fight each other, the electricty lines was broken and no one want to repair them, so people can't watch TV and can't use any other electric things. The  news reporter don't wear the formal clothes. All the people no longer polite, and they always fight and no one control these events. The whole city become a hell. Consequently, people can't endure this scene, They want to live in a peaceful environment, they want to have a government and recover it. Only the government can give us a peaceful environment, people can't live in a normal life order without the government. This is the final picture about this part:

 

 

 

      The second part is about "Leggo my meg-O". It's so funny at the first part. The teacher require a kiss for every body before the class over. This is the ptcture which I took from this part:

 

the teacher just like a rascal. haha....and there are many comical parts, such as a boy want to invite a girl to donce together, when the girl turn around, he was amazed that she is his sister, oh my gosh...but the main thing is happened in Meg, she decided to travel to Paris with her classmate. However she make a big mistake, when she get the Paris, a stranger man cheat them in a kind lie and take them to a hotel. Unfortunately, they are cought by some criminals and use as a sex slave. Her parents were very worried when they heard this news, but they don't know how to do except the poilcemen; however, the poilcemen told them that they can't do anything after 72 hours the thing happened. At this time, Meg's little brother and a dog decided to rescue his sister. During the process of secusing his sister, they met a lot of trouble, but they overcome all the problem finally, sometimes it looks like a funny because thay are a little boy and a dog. How can they fight with the adult and how can they use the gun.

 

It's a not truth in our life, but finally they save his sister successfully!

My Best Friend

    In  our daily life, I think every people should have one or more than one best friend until now. It is worth to proud of myself that I have a lot of friends in my life, they help me a lot and we never forget each other except some alleged friends who come from working relationship, because they usually only pay attention to their own working. At same time, I should emphasize a people who is my best friend in my life.

    His name is Xiaolong Yang, we are in the same city, he is 6 months older than me. we have known each other since we were in the primary school. The temper of us are very different, he is a good-temper man, but I'm a short-temper man. I always get angry with hin because of a little thing; however, he just didn't say anything, after a while, we were reconciled. He is also a faithful man. When I fought with the other people, if he heard this news about me, he never afraid and came to help me no matter we would succeed or faild. I like him very much because we are all honour our parents, we almost never quarral with our parents. When we made mistake, you can punish us in any ways if you didn't call our parents or made our parents known. We didn't want our parents worried about us. Moreover, we also have many same habbits, such as we like play computer games, like play poker, like walk around in our city, and so on. We always came to school and went home together, we usually play poker together. We are good poker player, and we always play in the same group, so it is very easy to defeat another group.

     As the long time friendship, our relationship are better and better, our each parents are also like us very much, so we started to look our each parents as our own father and mother. When I was in the army, I'm very happy that he can always come to my home to see my father and my mother, and my parents didn't feel lonely. My parents also felt very happy that they have second son. I also usually come to his home to see my second father and mother, and they also looked me as their own son.

     Actually, we haven't seen each other for a long time. I came to QingDao to work when I left the army, he was studying in NanShan university at that time. We are hardly to see one time, so we only can communicate by phone or the Inernate. I miss him very much, and now he has graduated from the university, but the pity thing is that I have been to American for study English. Both of us know that we should work hard for our future now, so we often encourage each other on the phone. After all, I hope he can find a good job and I can graduate from ELC quickly, then we can get and work hard togerher at that time. I hope all of us will have a good future.

     I believe we will continue our friendship forever. I will support him no matter how hard thing he is meeting. I hope we all can have a good future, good family, and good body.
